JOB DESCRIPTION
Position:
·
SiteCoordinator of 21st Century Community Learning Center
Goal:
·
To implement the goals of the 21st Century Community
Learning Center grant proposal in the school to which assigned
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
·
Three (3) years related professional experience
·
Knowledge of or willingness to learn planning, implementing, and directing afterschool programs and understanding ingredients of a successful program
·
Knowledge of community resources and how to form collaborative relationships
·
Organizational and project management skills
·
Good oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
·
Teaching
experience
·
Bilingual
(Spanish/English)
·
Experience working with high-risk high school students
·
Cultural competency; appreciation, embracing and valuing of diversity
· Knowledge about the metro-Denver region and the target population
·
Ability to travel to other work locations
Reports To:

Principal
Supervises:
·
All location activities and people assigned or contracted to provide services for the 21st Century CLC program in the school assigned
Duties:
·
Coordinates the implementation of programs, daily activities, and special events sponsored by the 21st CCLC at the school assigned
·
Provides tutoring and credit recovery support in one or more core subject areas
·
Plans and participates in activities designed to implement goals of the 21st CCLC
·
Coordinates and monitors work of program partners to implement the program
·
Organizes and works closely with a school team to implement the program
·
Organizes and recruits community volunteers to implement the program
·
Coordinates the evaluation of the 21st CCLC within the school assigned
·
Coordinates supplies, materials, equipment, and transportation requests
·
Schedules, monitors, and evaluates effectiveness of staff either assigned or contracted by
21st CCLC
·
Conductprogram activities as necessary
·
Represent program in faculty meetings, parent group meetings, or other community meetings
·
Submit reports as requested to Principal and/or Assessment and Research Analyst
·
Attend scheduled Site Coordinator meetings and training sessions as required
Time:
·
Fulltime, year-round following school schedule
·
M-F, may include some weekends
·
Site coordinator works after-school and during summer on 21st CCLC programs
·
Specific hours will vary according to the needs at each site
·
Two
week vacation
Salary: $46,000
